Studying sports therapy has shown me the positive impact sports therapists have on improving people's lives. Whether this is through helping them return to sport or helping someone become pain-free after years of suffering, this taught me how rewarding helping others is.
I graduated from the University of Essex with a First Class degree in Sports Therapy. I specialise in providing injury rehabilitation and massage to help people live pain-free and achieve their sporting goals.
During my time at Essex University, I worked in our Uni Sports Clinic and I completed a placement with Ipswich Town Football Club Foundation Post 16 looking after their 6 football teams. Here I worked alongside my supervisor providing injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, as well as providing pitch-side first aid and leading team workouts. I thoroughly enjoyed this placement and enjoyed working in a team environment.
My background in sport is golf where I represented Essex Ladies County Golf team for numerous years and this has helped me understand the detrimental impact injuries have on performance and mental well-being.
